1593 Series Enclosures

The 1593 series of Hammond enclosures provide a reliable and customisable housing solution for electronic instruments. With their ergonomic design and robust construction, these enclosures deliver a comfortable user experience while ensuring optimal protection to your electronics. 

These Hammond enclosures are moulded in ABS plastic, in a choice of black, grey or transparent blue, with self-tapping screws to secure the unit. The screws are colour matched to complete an aesthetic look. The sleek satin texture finish adds a touch of sophistication to your designs, ensuring that your enclosures not only provide functionality but also a visually appealing appearance.  

The enclosures feature a recessed top cover, specifically designed to accommodate membrane displays or keypads. This detail allows for easy visibility and operation of your HMI (human-machine interface).  

Designed to meet IP54 standards, Hammond enclosures offer reliable protection against dust and splashing water, due to the inclusion of a lap joint design. This ensures the safety of your electronics in various environments and applications. Units with a battery door, utilise Hammonds’ long life “three snap” door design. This mechanism ensures secure and reliable access to the battery compartment while maintaining a durable and long-lasting solution, which is built to withstand repeated use. 

The 1593 series can be customised by adding one or two aluminium end panels. These can be modified even further by using the supplied plastic protective covers, which provides better protect for your product.
