Industrial Forced Guided Relays

Industrial forced guided relays are ideal when safety is paramount. Their design makes it impossible for the normally open and normally closed contacts to be closed simultaneously. This is thanks to the use of a guide connected to the armature which is used to force the contacts open and closed. Therefore if the normally closed contact becomes welded it is impossible for the normally open contacts to close when the coil is energised. Likewise, if the normally open contact becomes welded the normally closed contacts will not close when the relay is de-energised.

RF1V Series – Force Guided Relays

RF1V Series – Force Guided Relays

The RF1V series of force guided relays from IDEC are available in 4 or 6 pole models that are electrically rated to 6A at 250VAC/30VDC and have a coil voltage choice of 12, 24 or 48VDC. Designed with force guided contacts meaning the N/O and N/C contacts are mechanically linked giving the most reliable way of ensuring safety to machinery and personnel....
