RM Series Enclosures

The RM series of Hammond Rack Mounted Instrumented Enclosures combines strength, lightweight design, and versatility to provide a reliable solution for your desktop or rack mountable applications. It can be easily mounted in a standard rack with the included rack mounting brackets, or it can be used without the brackets for desk top use. With its robust construction, convenient knockdown design, and comprehensive set of components, this enclosure offers a high-quality housing solution for your instruments. 

This enclosure is built to last using all aluminium components, ensuring both strength and lightweight properties. The extruded aluminium front, rear and side panels measure 3.2 mm thick, providing excellent durability and protection. The front and rear panels are interchangeable enhancing the enclosures’ versatility, allowing you to configure it to suit your needs. The flat aluminium top and bottom panels are 1.6 mm thick, adding to the enclosures’ lightweight design without compromising durability. 

The Hammond Rack Mounted Instrumented Enclosure includes a comprehensive set of components to support your installation. It comes complete with top, bottom, and side panels, as well as self-adhesive rubber feet for desk top use. Additionally, a pair of rack mount brackets is included for rack installation. All necessary assembly hardware is provided, ensuring a hassle-free setup process. Please note that pull handles and the adjustable rear bracket rack mount kit for deeper models are not included 

The enclosure is finished in a rugged, textured black powder coat, which not only enhances its durability but also gives it a sleek and professional appearance. The black powder coat finish adds an extra layer of protection, making the enclosure resistant to wear and tear while maintaining its visual appeal. 

To facilitate easy handling and shipping protection, this enclosure features a knockdown design. It ships unassembled, ensuring convenient transportation and storage. The knockdown design allows for effortless assembly, enabling you to quickly set up your enclosure and get to work.
