XW Series - E-Stop

The XW series from IDEC is a rugged emergency stop switch with removable contacts this allows the unit to incorporate up to 4 contacts in multiple configurations. The switch can be operated as 1,2, 3 or 4NC contacts, 3NC and 1NO monitoring contact or 2NO and 2NC monitoring contacts. This gives a fantastic range of options for incorporating the XW series into even the most robust of safety systems.

Designed for cut-outs of 22mm diameter the XW series has a behind the panel depth of 37.1mm or 48.7mm if using the screw termination style. The screw terminations are fully finger-safe and the connector style circuits allow for reduced wiring time and help with avoiding wiring mistakes.

Sealed up to IP65 or IP67 depending on the model the XW series has an operating force of 32N and is reset either by twist-action or direct pull. Available with a choice of 40mm or 60mm actuator in dark red or bright red the XW series can be non-illuminated, illuminated or illuminated when activated for easy identification.

The XW series is perfect for applications where maximum protection is required or multiple monitoring contacts are needed such as control panels, conveyor systems and factories.
