XN Series - E-Stop

The XN series from IDEC are rugged emergency stop switches incorporating up to 4 contacts in multiple configurations. The switch can be operated as 1,2, 3 or 4NC contacts or a mixture of NC and up to 2 NO monitoring contacts. This gives a fantastic range of options for incorporating the XN series into even the most robust of safety systems.

Designed for cut-outs of 30mm the XN series has a choice of standard, flush bezel or pad-lockable actuators with actuator sizes of 40mm or 60mm in dark red or bright red colouring. The pad-lockable actuators are ideal for when lockable safety systems or regular maintenance is required. The XN series is sealed to IP65 with a behind the panel depth of 47.7mm and protrudes above the panel by 33mm as standard, 43mm for pad-lockable or a lower profile 21mm for the flush bezel design.

The XN series are available in non-illuminated, illuminated or illuminated when activated versions allowing for easy identification with reset being achieved by either twist-action or direct pull. The XN series is perfect for applications where maximum protection or lockable safety equipment is required such as control panels, conveyor systems and factories.
