KW2D RFID Reader

The KW2D RFID reader from IDEC offers the next step in equipment and production site safety. Designed to work with both RFID cards and IDEC RFID tags the KW2D can be used to manage access to machines ensuring that inadvertent operation or changes to settings by unauthorized personnel is mitigated. The use of RFID traceability also allows for inspection history to be accurately recorded and reduces the need for paper or user input records which can be inaccurate or misplaced.

The authorisation and tracking ability of the KW2D can also be a huge safety benefit for production sites where gate control is required. This not only stops unauthorized access into restricted areas it can also be utilised as a record for who is currently or has been within these areas ideal for if emergency headcounts are ever required.
