The HS5E-K series of interlock switches from IDEC are type 2 low level coded switches offering a locking strength of 1400N. The HS5E-K has been designed with a high-security pin tumbler key giving a choice of sixteen types of key numbers for superior safety protection.
The HS5E-K series is available with right-angled or straight actuators as well as the adjustable angle actuator which is ideal for use on hinged doors. The rotatable head structure allows the actuator entry direction to be easily changed to better suit the application by offering 8 different entry positions.
Measuring 30mm wide, 40mm depth and 146mm the HS5E-K offers a great mix of small size and high protection. Sealed to IP65 and with a mechanical life of 1 million operations, the HS5E-K series is perfect for applications incorporating medium-sized doors and guards where maximum safety is required.
