Keylock Switches
Keylock switches are specialised rotary switches which are operated by a removable key instead of having a built-in actuator. This makes keylock switches ideal for use in situations where the switch is required to remain on (or off) for long periods, and where inadvertent actuation is undesirable (eg. alarm control panels). Keylock switches can be “keyed alike” (ie. keys are interchangeable) or with random key-codes for additional security. The number of available codes depends on the complexity of the lock assembly. Keylock switches can be simple “on-off” devices or have multiple switching positions, and most allow for the key to be removed in some or all positions (this is specified within the order code). Spring-return (momentary) and waterproof (IP67) versions are also available.
