RJ45 Series - Waterproof Input/Output Connectors

The RJ45 Ethernet series of connectors from GT Contact offers a comprehensive range of IP67 and IP68 rated options, designed to meet the highest standards of waterproof and robust connectivity. These connectors come in either nickel-plated copper alloy or thermoplastic housings, with gold-plated contacts to ensure superior connectivity and durability, with their rugged design. 

GT Contact’s panel mount connectors are all rear potted, maintaining the panel’s IP67 or IP68 rating even if the connector is unmated or the cap is not attached. This feature is particularly beneficial for applications where products are exposed to harsh outdoor environments and may not always be handled with care. 

The series includes panel mount and in-line connections with RJ45 sockets, while the RJ45 plugs are available in pre-wired or field-installable options. Panel mount connectors are offered with a termination choice of straight or 90-degree DIP connectors, straight or 90-degree RJ45 couplers with an RJ45 socket on either side, or pre-wired in various lengths to an RJ45 plug or socket or connection of your choosing. 

Both metal and plastic panel mount connectors are designed to the GT Contact C3 size specifications, fitting cut-outs of 20.75mm or 19.2mm by 20.75mm D-shape to prevent twisting. The plastic connectors are rated to IP67, and the metal connectors to IP68, with both types available with sealing caps to ensure their IP rating when unmated.
