RJ45 Series - Waterproof Input/Output Connectors

The RJ45 ethernet series of connectors from GT Contact is a complete range of IP67 and IP68 rated connectors. Available in a Nickle plated Copper Alloy or thermoplastic housing with gold plated contacts, these connectors are robust while still providing superior connectivity.

All the GT Contact panel mount connectors are rear potted, this retains the panels IP67 or IP68 rating even if the connector is unmated or the cap is not attached. This is an excellent benefit in applications where products are used outdoors in rougher environments and the products may not be treated as well as they deserve.

The series is available with the panel mount and in-line connections being the RJ45 sockets while the RJ45 plugs come in a choice of pre-wired or field-installable options. The panel mount connectors are terminated in a choice of straight or 90 degree DIP connectors, straight or 90 degree RJ45 couplers with an RJ45 socket on either side or pre-wired in a variety of lengths to an RJ45 plug or socket.

Both the metal and plastic panel mount connectors are the GT Contact C3 size which are designed for cut-outs of 20.75mm or 19.2mm by 20.75mm D-shape cut-outs to ensure the connector does not twist. The plastic connectors are all rated to IP67 while the metal connectors are IP68, both are also available with sealing caps to ensure their IP rating even when unmated.
