WA22 Series - Waterproof Threaded Connector

The WA22 Series of waterproof connectors from Weipu are a range of solidly built plastic connectors with a rating of IP67. These connectors can be used indoors or outdoors and are tough enough to deal with harsher outdoor applications.

The WA22 series comes in two designs with either internal or external threading giving designers more choice in how they wish their products to be mated. Available in 2 hole flanged panel mount, cable mount, short back shell cable mount, 90-degree cable mount and in-line cable mount options providing the choice of a cable to cable connection or cable to panel-mount connection with either end been a male or female connection.

Available in 3+PE (4 contacts) or 6+PE (7 contacts) variations the Weipu WA22 series utilise a design which is similar to other connectors and the market and have the added advantage of being intermateable. The 2 hole flanged panel mount connectors are designed to fit cut-outs of 22mm for the 3+PE connectors and 22.5mm for the 6+PE connectors. The standard cable mount connector has a choice of 6.5mm, 8.5mm or 10.5mm outer diameter cable opening while the short back shell and 90-degree cable mount connectors accept either 4.5-7mm or 7-12mm cables.

All the WA22 series have gold plated contacts for better conductivity and are terminated by screw termination for the 3+PE variants and solder for the 6+PE variants. Electrically the 3+PE connectors are rated for use up to 16A at 400VAC while the 6+PE has a slightly lower rating at 10A at 250VAC.

With their robust bodies, high IP67 rating and choice of variations the WA22 series are ideal for indoor and outdoor Industrial Applications, Power Supply Technology, Off-Highway Vehicles and Measurement Applications.
