Wieland Electric was founded in 1910 in Bamberg, Germany, over 100 years later the company is still family owned with their headquarters in Bamberg. However, they now have production units in Bamberg, the Czech Republic and China and employ over 2,200 people.
Wieland Electric were among the pioneers in electrical connection technologies and especially within the field of safe electrical connections, they are also the market leader in pluggable installation technologies for buildings.
Wieland’s safety products are now the core of their offering which include connectors, safety controllers and safety sensor technology. Alongside Wieland’s offering of high-quality safety hardware, they have diversified into safety software and full design assistance for safety critical applications.
Wieland are also looking out for the planet and have enacted a large-scale environmental initiative developing new methods to use raw materials as fully as possible and recycle any waste, this has led to them achieving a granulate plastic usage of 99%.

RST Series – Waterproof Circular Connectors

Samos Pro Compact
The Samos Pro Compact unit is a safety specific programmable logic controller (PLC) designed by Wieland Electric.
