Vandal Resistant Pushbuttons / Switches
Vandal resistant switches are electrical switches that are more robust than a standard switch. They are designed to withstand abuse from both intentional and unintentional damage happening to the inner workings of the switch. As such many vandal resistant switches include impact protection (IK rating) while others also have sealing against the elements (IP rating). Switches with an IK protection of IK10 offer extremely good protection against impact whilst an IP67 rating makes the switches ideal for outdoor use.
