07 & C07A Rotary Coded Switches

The Type 07 and C07A series from Elma are high precision coded rotary switches that are designed to function in rugged environments. The difference with the C07A series is the inclusion of a threaded bushing within a compact housing, rotation end stops and an IP68 rating. The 07 series do have the option to be customised with threaded bushings,  with rotational end stops or continuous rotation and can be rated to IP68 but in a slightly larger housing.

The 07 series are available in BCD, HEX or Gray coding with the C07A being offered in HEX or Gray Coding only. Both these series have rotations of between 2 and 16 positions and switching torques up to 3.5Ncm. The series also includes gold plated contacts and can have shorting or non-shorting switching modes.

The 07 and C07A series are terminated with THT and reflow versions are available on request, these can also be washable with a sealed contact system. The 07 series can be IP60 as standard up to IP68 at 2 bar for 1 hour with the shaft and front sealing been rated to IP68 5 bar for 4 hours if required.
